Rubber Roofing

Rubber roofing is a relatively new concept, manufactured by “Firestone”. Firestone ® Standard Grade EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber is a synthetic membrane, offering many benefits, including high flexibility and elongation.

The membrane is hand cut to a bespoke size as per on your requirements, but provides a seamless single sheet appearance for large areas.

The EPDM is highly durable against extreme weather conditions, ozone and ultra-violet light (solar) damage.

This type of roofing is easy to install, and offers very low life-cycle cost.

Firestone ® state a life expectancy of up to 50 years on the EPDM rubber product. We can offer a twenty year warranty on this type of roofing.

Firestone ® also state that their rubber membrane is an inert material with limited environmental impact both during the manufacture and installation stages, and with their high durability considered, compare well to other roofing membrane solutions on the market.
